Euro 2008 to kick off

Host Switzerland will face its 1st group stage opponent Czech in the opening game of Euro 2008 at St. Jakob-Park in Basel this Saturday. The ecticing tournament with 16 teams will be jointly-hosted by Switzerland and Austria in 8 venues, with the finals to take place at Ernest Happel Stadium in Vienna on June 29.
