Baby's smile makes mom happy
When a woman sees her baby smile, the dopaminergic reward system of her brain activates, stimulating happy feelings, a recent US study shows. This system is not activated when mothers see their own children looking either sad or neutral. "A baby's smile is a very powerful stimulus, said a researcher." It makes sense biologically.
