Charlie's summer camp

THERE is still a month to go before your summer vacation. You may already have discussed with your classmates your plans for the holiday. Will you go traveling or stay home watching the Olympic Games? Well, in the American film It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown suggests that you think twice before registering for a summer camp with girls.
It is Lucy who has signed them all up and forces them to attend the summer camp. There, Charlie Brown and Linus have to put up with poor food. But that's not the worst part of it. Girls beat the boys at one game after another — swimming, baseball and canoeing.
In desperation, the boys put their "masked marvel" — Snoopy — up against Lucy in an arm wrestling competition. The contest pushes both competitors to their limits and results in a controversial decision.
Their camp experience may not be great, but it serves the inspiration for Linus who is going to write a 500-page essay on what they have done in their summer vacation. Well, the summer camp is not that bad, is it?
