Priates seek $35M for ship

Pirates in a hijacked ship carrying 33 T-73 Russian battle tanks were anchored off the coast of Somalia Saturday, and they vowed not to release the ship until a $35m fansom was paid, Somali and Kenyan officials said. A Russian warship rushed to intercept the ship Friday. Meanwhile, a US Navy destroyer, the Howard, was closing in on the hijacked ship.
